Please Note: Prisoners for Christ is a ministry to all prison inmates incarcerated around the world. Our headquarters are located just north of Seattle, WA. We are in no manner connected with Prisoners of Christ (Jacksonville, FL).

Back in 2005, the Holy Spirt gave us a number of 1,000,000 inmates coming to PFC-sponsored church services and Bible studies within 10 years - by 2016. As of 2008, we were 1/3 of the way there with over 357,470 inmates attending. In spite of limited financial resources resulting from the economic downturn, we remained on course with more than 500,271 inmates attending PFC services this past year! Now that's proof positive that God watches over His Word to perform it. Even more amazing to me is that more than 148,090 prisoners bowed their knee to acept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior - an astounding 53% increase over the previous year's total of 96,841! Where else but in the kingdom of God would you receive that level of return on an investment in a down economy? Thank you for you interest in our ministry! Here at PFC we strive to serve the Lord through consistent and dedicated evangelism. We see God's blessing everyday and I invite you to experience Him through this site!- Greg Von Tobel

Christian Examiner - Breaking Chains Reprint |
“Africa is called the ‘Last Frontier of Missions,’
largely uncharted
missionary terrain,”.
Globally, he noted, “Prisons are [also] the last frontier of missions. We’re seeing an incredible
working of the Holy Spirit all around the world. I’m seeing the life changes before my eyes.”
“When they hear Prisoners for Christ is coming, they open up the whole prison for us. We get some pretty large crowds.”
Though very successful,
when they leave, the real work begins. It’s a two-step process. PFC evangelizes but follows Scripture by training in-place missionaries.“ When we leave, our missionaries, who we support financially, go back to these prisons on a weekly or monthly basis,” developing the new faith of the young Christians converts PFC left behind.
At one point, Von Tobel
asked for prayer for “traveling mercies, an outpouring of the Holy Spirit, safety from injuries,
bandits and health risks,” because “the world is not a friendly place anymore.” Click here for more.

Bars & Stripes, Winter 2009 |
Von Tobel, what on God’s green earth
possessed you to teach convicts how to make
soap? Do you have Jell-O for brains? Look at
these guys. They are totally not engaged.
These thoughts raced through my mind as I
gathered the six men at our clean and sober house
around a table to teach them to make soap. What
was I thinking? These were not just any men. These were ex-cons; big burly,
tattoo-covered guys that had led rough lives and were now trying to draw
closer to God through our recovery program at Standing Stones. Click here for more. |

Yard Out, Vol. 13 No. 1 |

"I stole from everyone, even friends and family.
I did it all with the exception of killing someone.
Thank God, I finally got locked up at the age of 19
for a robbery.
I was so deep into the hell
I called my life, there was
no way out. I was addicted.
Addicted to drugs. Addicted
to alcohol... in short, I
was addicted to sin.
Once incarcerated, I was no longer able to turn to
drugs, alcohol, women or any of the other vices the
devil had provided me as an escape from dealing with
my depression. There was no way of escape. I knew
I was lost." Click here for more. |
